This “Double Barreled" set includes two push grinders filled with our Three Kings and Hotter Stuff Hot Salts. One 50g Three Kings Refill pouch and one Hotter Stuff 25g refill pouch are included in the set.
Three Kings Hot Salt Pusher
17g Three Kings Hot Salt Pusher and a 50g pouch of Three Kings Hot Salt (crystal/coarse) grind.
"Hotter Stuff” - In Hotter Stuff etched Push Grinder
17g of our hotter variant of the Three Kings Hot Salt in a Pusher grinder plus plus a 25g pouch of the Hotter Stuff (crystal/coarse) grind.
Both are small batch Hot Salt made with coarse sea salt that's infused with Ghost, Trinidad Scorpion, and Carolina Reaper pepper.
Firecracker Farm push grinders are solid in hand, convenient and incredibly satisfying to use. One push delivers a burst of savory heat whenever you need one.
The Pusher grinder itself is a spring loaded, thumb operated rasp style grinder. Pressing down on the depressor forces a rough banded steel rasp down through the opening at the bottom of the grinder and crushes the salt crystals as each band passes the salt blocking the opening. A fast press pulverizes the salt more thoroughly and creates a slightly finer grind. A slow press allows larger grains of Hot Salt to pass.
Each press of the pusher yields about 33 mg of Hot Salt on average. A full pusher contains approximately 515 presses. That's a lot of heat! When compared to the number of uses from a typical bottle of specialty hot sauce (maybe 10) you can see how this will last. When you run out, we sell refill pouches.
The coarse sea salts we use are natural unprocessed sea-salts made by solar evaporation of brine and are not iodized. They are refined by washing with clean saturated salt brine to remove surface impurities, drained of excess moisture, dried, and screened to size.

"Hotter Stuff" increases the potency of our Three Kings Hot Salt. The initial burn is slow and low at first, then ramps up to a higher intensity, heavy feeling of heat that lingers. It offers all of the flavor nuance and progression of Three Kings Hot Salt - and the Ghost, Carolina Reaper and Trinidad Scorpion peppers they are made with, blended at a higher potency for the people that have been asking for it.

We have purchased the large firecracker farm three Kings hot salt with the grinder and that has been a family favorite! We just recently have purchased the smaller portable salts. The hotter stuff is really really hot.!! All are so good! I do wish they were a little cheaper so that I could give them as gifts.

The grinders are high quality. The 3 kings has heat and good flavor.
Love them both but three kings is gonna be more popular for people like myself who love spice to compliment food and not overwhelm you! My wife even likes it (in moderation) and shes not into spicy food. I will definitely be a returning customer and find myself looking for treats and meals just so I can add on some three kings!
My Friends up Northg know I love hot stuff. So they bought the Hot Salt and three Kings from you thionking they found something I cannot handle. . First they gace me the Three Kings. 4 pumps ito my hand and I ate it like it was nothing. Had a salty flavor but good. Then is was 2 pumps fo the Hot Salt. They said be careful, well that went in and yes it was alittle hot. I really liked the flavor. Tha is why I bought both. I am ahppy they turned me onto the Hot Salts. Thank You
I have 3 of the salts and love each one. 3 Kings, Hotter, and Fun with Matt! One just a tad hotter than the other. Strongly recommend the Hotter and DFUn with Matt!

I ordered the double barreled set for my husband (first time ordering from Firecracker Farm) and the salts blew him away! My husband is a huge fan of hot sauces, but these salts are a game-changer. They can change the heat level of anything without altering the flavor, or can be used as the primary seasoning. He also loves the different heat levels of the salts that come in this set. The grinders that come with this set are fantastic too, - very heavy duty, and compact. And the packaging is great too, especially if you are considering buying a product as a gift!
The flavors are good. I ordered 2 single packs to give away. I ordered the double pack for myself thinking I would have a good range of heat between the 2. However, there is not enough difference between the salts in the dispenser.. It would be great if I could have chosen heat level for each of the dispensers.

Thanks for the feedback, that's a great insight. Double Barrel contains Three Kings & Hotter Stuff variants. Hotter Stuff is technically 6x the potency of Three Kings and people usually tell me that it's too hot. I know it can really catch up when used liberally. That said, for some people it's not hot at all... Wherever it lands for you, since I use the same ratio of the three different peppers in the Three Kings and Hotter Stuff blends, they do have similar flavor profiles at different concentrations.
I really like the idea of being able to 'choose your own adventure package' and will consider practical ways to offer that. If you would like to exchange the Hotter Stuff for something hotter/different or Three Kings for something milder, let me know. Thank you, Alex
Amazing stuff right here. A fiend brought 3 Kings into work for us to use. Holy Cow, it was a hit with everyone. That night I ordered some for home. It arrived and everything from packaging to flavor is top notch. I cannot wait for the weekend to fire up the smoker and use the Hotter Stuff as part of the rub. It makes my mouth water just thinking of it. Try it. Don't pass this by, as it really takes salt up a few levels.

Got this as a Valentine's Day gift for my husband! She absolutely loves it and especially loves number six and number 10! I especially love using this on steaks. I put it all around the steak the day before to let it really soak in.

I was heartbroken when Tabasco salt was discontinued by Tabasco, and I received the 3 Kings salt as a Christmas present. It was the hit of our Christmas gathering! We used it for cocktails, appetizers, and the main course!! This is the perfect gift idea for everyone, and I cannot wait for the other varieties to become available. I ordered the Hotter Stuff, a little goes a long way, and it will make your nose run. I used it in my Chimichurri recipe, and it elevated the sauce to another dimension of delicious.
